Southern Party Condemns Lincoln Statue in Confederate Capitol!

OFFICIAL SOUTHERN PARTY STATEMENT The Southern Party condemns without reservation the attempt to place a statue of the tyrant, Abraham Lincoln, in Richmond, Virginia. To raise a monument to an individual who presided over the pillage of our land, the burning of our homes, and the rape and murder of thousands of our people, in the very capitol of the Confederate States of America, is a calculated insult not only to Virginia, but to the entire Southern race, and to everything that our Confederate forefathers fought for, and it is an insult that must be answered directly. We urge the people of Richmond and Southerners everywhere to prevent this infamous monument to murder from polluting our Southern soil with its presence. Further, the Southern Party calls upon all leaders of the Southern Heritage and Nationalist movements, so many of whom have remained so far silent in this situation of great importance to us all, to speak out and stir the passions of the members of your respective organizations against this monstrous graven image.
